CONSULTATION & SURGERY PRICE

1How the process looks like?
Please start with sending us photos: face on and both profiles. Add description of your concerns and expectations towards the surgery. By a return e-mail we will provide information if you are a good candidate for a particular type of a face lifting, a quote and further details.
2What is included in your price?
All costs such as the following: surgery, anesthesia, stay in the clinic (its lenght depends on the type of anesthesia which will be used), post-op face mask, follow-up visit for stitches removal.
3What surgeries can be combined with a face lifting?

Under the same anesthesia the following can be combined:

  1. Face lifting and eye lifting
  2. Face lifting and brow lifting or forehead lifting
  3. Face liftingand neck lifting
  4. Face lifting and chin liposuction
  5. Face lifting and face lipofilling (fat grafting)
  6. Face lifting and lip lift
4How much is combined surgery?
General price list is given here. As all combined surgeries are custom-made and depend on a given individual, exact price is given based on photos we get from a patient.

STITCHES, SCAR & ANESTHESIA

1Can dissolvable stitches be used for a face lifting?
No. For all types of a face lifting we use high quality non-dissolvable stitches.
2When post-face lifting stitches should be removed?

Stitches are generally removed in two steps:

  1. After a week post-op we remove first portion of stitches. During this visit you have your hair washed by a nurse, a surgeon removes the stitches and puts on post-op face mask again
  2. After two weeks second part of stitches is removed

This is general protocol, but it is usually adapted to individual patient needs.

3Where will the scars be located?

Scar location depends on the type of a face lifting. In case of:

  1. Mini face lifting (LINK do oferty), the scar is located in the ear area
  2. Full face lifting – in the area of temples and ears
  3. Eyebrow and forehead lifting – in the hairline

5Is it possible to have a scar-free face lifting?
No. A face lifting always leaves a scar. For stitching Dr. Osuch uses fine, high quality sutures which are one of the factors which influence scar appearance. The final look of the scar is also affected among others by the following: surgeon’s technique of stitching, individual, genetic factors and post-op care, especially sun protection. With time scars get whiter and less visible, but never do they disappear.
6Is it possible to have a scar-free face lifting?

No. A face lifting always leaves a scar. For stitching Dr. Osuch uses fine, high quality sutures which are one of the factors which influence scar appearance. The final look of the scar is also affected among others by the following: surgeon’s technique of stitching, individual, genetic factors and post-op care, especially sun protection. With time scars get whiter and less visible, but never do they disappear.

If you are afraid of a scar, please consider other less invasive treatments such as Pelleve or PDO threats. They will not give the result comparable to a surgical face lifting but will definitely contribute to rejuvenating your face. Never will they leave a scar.

7Can face lifting be done in a local anesthesia?
Yes, but it depends on the surgery scope. Dr. Osuch performs face liftings under local, general anesthesia or a twilight sedation.

POST-OP MASK & THE RESULTS

1Do I need to wear a post-op mask?
Yes, it should be worn for two weeks 24/7 to properly support the healing process. A mask is mandatory after mini face lifting and full facelift. It does not apply to eyebrow lift and forehead lift. After such surgeries you wear only post-op dressing in the form of an elastic band.
2Is it true that after a face lifting you cannot wash your hair?
Yes, hair is washed by a nurse 7 days post-op in the clinic. During the first week after the surgery the patient is wearing an elastic face lifting mask. This is a type of a post-op dressing which should be worn 24/7.
3How long face lifting effects will last?
Up to dozen years. Unfortunately aging and gravity affects all of us. Face lifting does not stop a natural process of aging, but it dramatically rejuvenates the face up to dozen years.
